For 20 years, Katie has helped companies launch cutting-edge technology. Her first job was with
AT&T, figuring
out why anyone would want to pay for email when they had a perfectly
good fax machine right down the hall. She's also worked for
Polycom,
figuring out why anyone would pay for a fancy speakerphone when they
had a perfectly good one built into the phone on their desk, for
Internet startup
Four11.com, figuring out why anyone would pay for Internet advertising (acquired by
Yahoo!
in 1998), and for a series of clients launching everything from Web 2.0
services to enterprise applications to contract manufacturing services.
Katie holds a BA from
Harvard College and an MBA from the
Stanford Graduate School of Business.
